ZAYN returns with his most culturally resonant and experimental body of work to date: "KONNAKOL." Arriving April 17, 2026, the album serves as a sophisticated evolution of the "pop-forward" sound first explored on his record-breaking debut "Mind of Mine," while pivoting away from the rustic, acoustic textures of 2024’s "Room Under the Stairs."

The album takes its title from the ancient South Asian art of vocal percussion - the practice of performing rhythmic syllables vocally. To ZAYN, however, the concept represents something more profound. It's a sound that holds the reverberation of a time before words existed.

This era finds the artist leaning deeply into his heritage for inspiration, to create an album of fundamental understanding of where he is at this moment, and where he intends to go from now on.
