This is a 2-CD Set featuring the acoustical music of Rik Wight, from The Rik Wight Group. Rik's music has received Internatonal Airplay and acclaim and his music has been played on Jay Leno's Tonight Show! The first Friends release from 1999 is here titled 'Mister Mellow' and consists of the first 19 tracks listed, and the second Friends release 'Curio' from 2001 is also included in the set, which includes tracks 20 through 34. FOOTNOTE: Having decided to dispense with heavy lead guitar and drums on a lot of songs, usually a 'must' for most groups today, I set about forming a new band to explore a more acoustical style of progressive music. This album was recorded live and in the studios around the Philadelphia area, some tracks after only a few weeks experience of each other's playing. RIK WIGHT & Friends FOOTNOTE 2: This album is the result of our experiment to explore seldom-used areas within the framework of low volume music.
