“Super Bass” by Capri Records is an album dedicated to the great guitarist Freddie Green. The project was initiated by the two super bassists Ray Brown and John Clayton, together with Jeff Hamilton (drums) and Jeff Clayton, as well as Freddie Green himself. As the title suggests, the ensemble's recordings from September 1988 contain some of the best bass-driven jazz pieces ever captured on record.
