Guðnadóttir delivers a bold and emotionally charged score that blends orchestral grandeur with raw punk energy, capturing the film’s sweeping romance, dangerous sensuality, and unflinching humanity.

Director, writer, and producer Maggie Gyllenhaal reflects on the challenge of shaping the film’s musical identity, describing a balance between punk as a feeling and deep romanticism. With contributions from Lee Ranaldo, David Murray, and Fever Ray, the score becomes a layered fusion of sounds—mirroring the film’s interplay of genres, tones, and emotional extremes.
