Retro Lounge: Pop Hits Reimagi Phonomatiq

A pet project of Billy Paul Williams, who for decades has been one of the most creative producers on the dance music scene, Phonomatiq creates loungey, jazz influenced takes on modern pop songs. Originally conceived as a singles project, six critically acclaimed tracks were released before the project was expanded into a full-length album. Comparisons have been drawn to Post Modern Jukebox, although Phonomatiq takes that blueprint to an entirely new level.
