Fur and Gold Bat for Lashes 2025 Remastered Deluxe edition
Fur and Gold
Bat for Lashes
Bat For Lashes celebrates the 20th anniversary of her debut album Fur and Gold with an official remastered edition.
Originally released in 2006, Fur & Gold went on to receive a Mercury Prize nomination. Today, the album still stands as one of the strongest works in Bat For Lashes’ catalogue — a dreamlike, mystical art-pop landscape created by Natasha Khan, elegantly balancing folktronica, baroque pop, and an emotionally rich, visually striking expression.
This updated edition has been meticulously remastered by acclaimed mastering engineer Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios, under the guidance of Natasha Khan herself and the album’s original producer, David Kosten. The CD edition has also been expanded into a new 2CD deluxe release, featuring a selection of previously omitted demos and unique BBC live sessions, including alternative versions of What’s A Girl To Do? and Tahiti.
