December 16 2015 Bunkamura Orchard Hall Tokyo King Crimson Japan Import Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP) edition
December 16 2015 Bunkamura Orchard Hall Tokyo
King Crimson
Japan advance release and Japan-exclusive project. 'King Crimson 2015 Ten-Show Supplement Series' Second Set, Part 2. The fifth-night Tokyo Bunkamura Orchard Hall concert is released on SHM-CD in an E-style gatefold cardboard sleeve. A perfect night packed with essential classics, highly recommended for listeners who want an all-time-best style setlist. Millennium King Crimson, who resumed activity in 2014, released all ten shows of their December 2015 Japan Tour in three phases. Following the first set released in December, the Second Set is Tokyo Part 2, covering the December 10, 16, and 17 Shibuya Orchard Hall shows. This title contains the seventh show of the tour, the December 16 performance after the band returned to Tokyo from two Osaka concerts. This concert features the first Tokyo performance of 'Heiwa' with its introduction section sung in Japanese, a version first introduced at the Osaka shows. On this 2015 tour, the mood changed drastically from night to night with constantly shifting set lists and structures. Although 'The Court of the Crimson King' was not played, this date offers arguably the best selection among all ten shows for enjoying classic Crimson material. The 2015 version of 'Red', driven by a storm of drums, is at its tightest and most solid on this night. This is the recommended choice if you are picking just one title from the Tokyo run. First-ever CD release worldwide. A special Japan-only edition prepared by the band exclusively for Japanese fans. A 2xSHM-CD set in an E-style gatefold cardboard sleeve. The master uses the digital recording made on the night, mixed by Alex Mundy.
SHM-CD discs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
