Celebrating the 50th anniversary of his solo debut. Beloved titles from Japanese superstar guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka's Kitty Years are newly remastered. As a leading figure in the recent worldwide Japanese fusion boom, Takanaka is rapidly gaining popularity not only in Japan but also across Europe and North America. Using high-resolution audio sourced from the original master tapes, this release was remastered and lacquer-cut at Abbey Road Studios in London. All three titles in this series were remastered and cut by Alex Wharton, one of Abbey Road Studios' representative engineers. Each album will be released on color vinyl that expands the visual impression of the original jacket artwork. A mini-album originally released in 1980, where Funky Takanaka explodes in full force. As the title suggests, this is a feel-good 45 rpm record where Takanaka's fingers dance across the guitar frets. Featuring four tracks including the soft and romantic "PLASTIC TEARS" and the heart-shaking disco tune "FINGER DANCIN'." (Original release date: September 1, 1980) Remastered and lacquer-cut by: Alex Wharton (Abbey Road Studios, London) Format: 12-inch 45 RPM 180g heavyweight vinyl / Clear Purple Vinyl.
