From a Page Yes Japan Import edition

YES's four track mini album originally released in 2019 is reissued as an expanded edition with a total of 15 tracks across two discs. In addition to the four songs included on the original release, this package also contains alternate takes and demo recordings created during the sessions at the time. Supervised by Oliver Wakeman, with mixing and remastering handled by Karl Groom, the expanded and remastered edition of "From a Page" includes the four tracks from the original release as well as alternate versions with replaced keyboard parts for three songs that later appeared on "Fly from Here". These versions replace the keyboard parts later added by Geoff with performances originally conceived by Oliver Wakeman during the initial composition stage. Disc 1 also includes the studio version of the Chris Squire composition "Aliens". By adding this track, which was performed during the 2008 "In the Present Tour", the album recreates the concept that existed before Trevor Horn became involved in the production. Disc 2 mainly contains demo versions of these songs. Among them, "Updraft" is the track that became the basis for the "Army Of Angels" section in "Into the Storm". "Don't Take No for an Answer", although not included on the original edition of "From a Page", was also recorded during the same sessions. Disc 2 also includes an acoustic version of "Words on a Page" and the single mix of "To the Moment", which was previously available only on the analog record edition of the original release. The new edition of "From a Page" is presented as a box set featuring Roger Dean's artwork, containing two CDs, a booklet with detailed liner notes by Oliver Wakeman (16 pages), a fold out poster, and five art cards housed in an opening box.
