Breathe If You Can
Heath Watts & Dan Pell
Soprano saxophonist Heath Watts and drummer Dan Pell use the method of playing and composition Watts describes as NODOT (Non-Objective Dynamically Ordered Tones). When Watts improvises, he focuses on pure sound and how tones fit together. The music is of the moment and it only happens once. It is rock, jazz, blues, world music, noise, folk, funk and punk. It is complex and primal all at once.
