Previously unissued 74 minute concert from 1952, the only recorded encounter of Charlie Parker with Frank Morgan and Don Wilkerson. Recorded during one of the wild parties thrown by painter/sculptor Jirayr H. Zorthian at his hilltop ranch in Altadena, California (his parties could sometimes last for days). Features Parker, Morgan and Wilkerson with Amos trice, Dave Bryant, Lawrence Marable plus a guest appearance from Chet Baker on 'Scrapple From The Apple'. Due to the wild nature of the party, a striptease is heard being performed before and during 'Embraceable You'! Nine tracks. RLR. 2006.
