OctavePussY is a Dutch band named after a cartoon figure that was featured on George Clinton's Parliament 1978 album "Motor Booty Affair". Now, after more then 40 years, the story continues. The album, "Straight From # 1 Bimini Road", is created in collaboration with George "Dr. Funkenstein" Clinton. This album also features 19 members of Parliament Funkadelic, including, among others, legends as Billy Bass, Michael Hampton, Blackbyrd McKnight, Garry Shider & Fred Wesley. After the big succes of the limited edition vinyl only release from last year Tonefloat is presenting you the extended cd version with 3 extra bonus tracks. George Clinton co-wrote

and co-produced several songs of this 11 track album. The record contains 10 original tracks and a cover of Parliament's Unfunky UFO. It can be stated that this is a real "P- Funk" album, which indicates the music of George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. "Motor Booty Affair" had an anti disco message back in 1978. The album "Straight From # 1 Bimini Road" is a message against digital dance music. This digi-sleeve comes with a 20 pages cartoon booklet that tells the entire story.
