'Sit Down And Listen To Hooverphonic' is the fifth album for founding members Alex Callier (bass guitar and programming) and Raymond Geertz (lead guitar) fronted by Geike Arnaert (lead vocals). The album was recorded live (without any audience) in a studio with an orchestra and features a selection of songs from the band's body of work, as well as the new songs "Antarctica" and the single "The Last Thing I Need Is You", and a beautiful rendition of Lee Hazelwood's "My Autumn's Done Come". All the best songs from their previous albums are represented here; "Jackie Cane", 2Wicky", "Inhaler", "Vinegar & Salt" and "Eden".
