The Grace EPs Jeff Buckley Box Set edition
The Grace EPs
Jeff Buckley
Box Set edition
The Grace EPs by legendary singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley is a 19-track, five-EP box set comprising the following releases: Peyote Radio Theatre (July 1994), Last Goodbye (January 1995), So Real (June 1995), Live From The Bataclan (October 1995) and The Grace EP (February 1996).
This unique package contains all five twelve-inch vinyl records, each housed in its own full-colour jacket, alongside a double-sided full-colour insert with extensive liner notes. Everything is carefully packed in a heavyweight, leather-laminate textured outer sleeve with a 15mm spine.
The five discs that make up The Grace EPs box set collect live performances, B-sides and alternate studio versions of songs that originally appeared on Buckley’s Grace album.
Peyote Radio Theatre and So Real were promotional-only releases and were not commercially available. The remaining EPs were issued as rare imports: Last Goodbye was released in Japan, Live From The Bataclan in France, and The Grace EP in Australia.
The set includes standout tracks such as “Last Goodbye”, “Grace” and “So Real”, alongside two remarkable live versions of Buckley’s classics “Hallelujah” and “Mojo Pin”.
The Grace EPs also features an expansive 12-minute version of Van Morrison’s “The Way Young Lovers Do”, a medley of “Je N’En Connais Pas la Fin / Hymne À L’Amour”, Hank Williams’ “Lost Highway”, and a 14-minute interpretation of Alex Chilton’s “Kanga-Roo”. The collection is rounded out by a bonus track on The Grace EP: “Tongue”, an atmospheric 11-minute studio instrumental.
