SESSION VICTIM - Berlin/Hamburg based duo of Hauke Freer and Matthias Reiling - return with the next installment in Real Soon’s occasional Limited Edition series. The ‘Late Runner EP’ follows two well-received Real Soon releases - Session Victim’s ‘No Friends EP’ (2008) and Hauke Freer’s ‘My Beat’ 12? (2007). The four tracks here continue Session Victim’s exploration into their distinctive brand of low-key Tech/House minimalism - their productions combine a confident timeless simplicity with a subtle attention to detail & texture and a clever ear for melody. As well as Real Soon, Session Victim have previous releases on Hairy Claw and their own recently-launched label Retreat.
