Tolouse Low Trax
Hypnotizing acid-EBM-electro-wave masterpiece from Düsseldorf. Tolouse Low Trax is Detlef Weinrich, one of the members of German band Kreidler, DJ and co-owner of the Düsseldorf based club/bar ''Salon des Amateurs''. Tolouse Low Trax remixes Noblesse Oblige's already fantastic ''The Great Electrifier'' into a mesmerizing and highly original blend of electronic dub and new-wave-like techno. The other three tracks are solely by the hand of Tolouse Low Trax. His unique signature is all over it: Teutonic marching beats with layers of spaced-out, dubby electronics. The perfect soundtrack for a German party in an African cocktailbar during a full eclipse in the middle of a coup d'état. Fear and Loathing in Düsseldorf. Highly original and an absolute must-have.
