Aradia, or the Gospel of the Witches Charles Leland

This classic text is one of the few books consisting of actual sacred text of traditional witchcraft. Charles Leland was an American journalist and author who based this book on material he received from a woman named Maddelena. On New Years day, 1897 Maddelena handed over to him a document in her own handwriting, the Vangel, which now makes up the core of this book. This sacred text has had a large impact on the emergence of paganism and wicca, and is required reading for anyone interested in the subject.
