WWII in Europe is about to kick off with the arrival of the Americans. Dana Morgan a pilot fresh out of flight training has arrived in England. He awaits word from command to begin the attack. While he waits, he has discovered a blonde girl in an office in Bicester, near his air base. He soon developes a crush on her, and cannot seem to work up the courage to ask her out. That is until three soldiers confront her and attempt to foist their unwanted attentions on her. Dana intercedes and meets Leah Delaney, the girl of his dreams. The story of love and war begins as the two struggle with their new relationship, and Leah struggles with her feeling for Dana, and her refusal to consider marriage.
