Among the many changes that occur when an addict turns to God is his attitude toward contentment, working, and money. Underlying the progression into addiction was a self-centered and self-gratifying focus. This led to the sins of addiction that caused grief and pain to many people. When a person comes to Jesus they are transformed into a generous and giving person. Instead of taking from others they work hard to meet their own needs and to have something to share with others. This volume discusses the relationship between being content, working hard, and using money for others rather than selfish reasons.
