This book has 124 English translations of 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7. Some are very similar to each other and others are differently worded. This is the famous section by Saint Paul where he describes what love is. Just prior to this passage, he says if he can understand all knowledge and mysteries, but does not have love then he is nothing. He is nothing, he says, if he has faith that can move mountains, but does not have love. St. Paul says if he gives all of his possessions to the poor and even gives over his body to pain and suffering, but does not have love, then he has gained nothing.
