Urban Resilience and Critical Infrastructures Serre

This book is a contribution to the resilience of territories to disasters. Its originality is to demonstrate that the resilience of a territory is intrinsically linked to critical infrastructures that can propagate and amplify the effects of hazards, especially in the context of climate change. The book deals systemically with the interconnected critical infrastructures and their relationship to the ever-changing territory. These relationships directly influence the resilience of a territory, but solutions exist to improve this resilience. The debate then opens on the operationalization of a concept of resilience according to a spatial and temporal approach.
