A Taxonomic Study of Subfamily Buprestinae of Pakistan: Order Coleoptera; Family Buprestidae Abid Raza

Members of the family Buprestidae were collected from different areas of Pakistan such as Jamshoro, Tori Phatak, Hyderabad, Karachi, Thar desert, Mithi, Naushki, Bampur, Quetta, Wah Garden, Murree, Fatehjung, Azad Kashmir, Muzafferabad, Panjkot,, Qalandarabad, Swat, Kalam and Parachinar. The specimens were collected by beating branches of trees and bushes by using sweep net and hand picking methods. Buprestinae of the family Buprestidae are reported based on the survey conducted during the 2005 to 2013. This monograph is based on the taxonomy of family Buprestidae of the order Coleoptera and provided the qualitative data and sophisticated information. This book is useful for students, researcher and zoology teachers.
