JESUS IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. HIS FOLLOWER HAS THE LIGHT OF LIFE. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life" (John 8:12). The only true God's presence is throughout the earth. His presence is His glory and light . . . the glorious splendor of His majesty. Jesus is the exact representation of God's nature (Hebrews 1:3). Jesus is "the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person" (Hebrews 1:3,5) When someone receives Jesus, they find eternal life (John 3:16). They go from death to life, from darkness to light. What is eternal life? "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent" (John 17:3). What is God like? He is the most wonderful, most beautiful Person in the universe.
