Be careful what you wish for. What happens when you combine ancient mythology and futuristic technology? You get the planet Mythos, where million to one chances crop up nine times out of ten. In Photons & Feathered Feet, Centaur Island is having a breeding problem. There simply isn't enough females to go around, and the younger males are threatening to challenge Centaur as leader and alpha male of the herd. It would be a fight to the death. However, an entire planet of centaurs is rumored to exist on the far side of the Gamma Quadrant. Still recovering from his first near fatal accident, Centaur and a small research team leave Mythos to search for this fabled planet. But to get there, Centaur faces a fate worse than death.
