In Photons & Foes, Cat, Centaur, and Wolf have to figure who their friends are, as well as their foes. Are the Technomage the friends or foes of the Mythosians? Is being immortal on a planet of immortals a good thing, or a bad thing? Faced with a possible life span of centuries, is Death itself (who can take the form of an actual being) a friend or foe? Is having the ability to literally have your every wish come true really all that it's cracked up to be? Is being the persona of a mythological figure something that is limiting, or is there a freedom? Be careful what you wish for on Mythos, it just may come true. After all, in the Mythosians Empire, the difference between magic and science may all depend on your point of view.
