The arrival of Lib Freegate's fiancé, Jim, upsets Dr Fixit, the soldier ant and Lib's secret friend and business partner, and disrupts his conveniently penning more scenes of his film script and this nearly mars their relationships (between Lib and Dr Fixit; and between Lib and Jim). Dr Fixit gives a condition for him to stay and the female journalist, Lib, meets it by confronting Jim with the truth. Later, his behind-the-back mockery of his fiancée's worship of a pet of a soldier ant triggers off a reaction (as the soldier ant replies Jim in fluent English) which seems like an event in a storybook. Jim wonders if the talking soldier ant is a science-created bug.
